James Wusterbarth

 Deputy Sheriff James William Whisterbarth has announced his intention to run for Sheriff of Marion County, Arkansas.

James Wusterbarth grew up in Searcy County and Yellville, Arkansas, and graduated from the U of A in Pinebluff in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

After graduation, Whisterbarth moved to Clark County, Nevada, where he worked as a prison officer for the Nevada Department of Corrections for three years.

In 2014, Whisterbarth moved from Las Vegas, NV to Erie, Pennsylvania to work for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

After five years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, he moved back to Arkansas in 2019 to work for the Marion County Sheriff's Department.

James Wusterbarth is 34 years old and owns a home in Yellville. He is single and an active bass fisherman on Bull Shoals Lake. Deputy Whisterbarth is running for Marion County Sheriff.

James Wusterbarth - Introduction

 Deputy Sheriff James William Whisterbarth has announced plans to run for Sheriff of Marion County, Arkansas.


James Wusterbarth grew up in Searcy County and Yellville, Arkansas, and graduated in 2011 with a BA in Criminal Justice from U of A at Pinebluff.


After graduation, Whisterbarth moved to Clark County Nevada where he worked as a Corrections Officer for the Nevada Department of Corrections for three years.


In 2014 Whisterbarth moved from Las Vegas, NV to Erie, Pennsylvania to work for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. After five years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, he moved back to Arkansas in 2019 to work for the Marion County Sheriff's Department.


James Wusterbarth is 34 and owns a home in Yellville. He is unmarried and is an active Bass Fisher in Bull Shoals Lake.


Deputy Sheriff Whisterbarth is running for the seat of Sheriff of Marion County.
